INGREDIENTS

  • Almond extract
  • almonds
  • Canola Oil
  • Dried cranberries
  • dried tart cherries
  • Ground Allspice
  • Ground cinnamon
  • ground nutmeg
  • Honey
  • Maple Syrup
  • old fashioned rolled oats
  • Salt
  • sesame seeds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray (do not spray if you are using a nonstick baking sheet).
  2. Combine the oats, almonds, sesame seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and salt in a large bowl. Combine the maple syrup, honey, oil, and almond extract in a separate bowl. Add maple syrup mixture to oat mixture and stir well to combine. Spread mixture in an even layer on a nonstick baking sheet. (If you do not have non-stick, coat the pan with cooking spray before using).
  3. Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, until the mixture is lightly browned, about 40-45 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir in the cherries and cranberries. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
