Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts

INGREDIENTS
- 8 ounces brussel sprouts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 clove minced garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
DIRECTIONS
- Slice brussel sprouts in half. Heat olive oil in the KitchenAid® NITRO Carbon Steel Skillet over medium heat and place brussel sprouts in a single layer, cut side down, in the heated skillet.
- Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally while keeping the cut side down.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and saute for 1 more minute until the garlic is fragrant.
- Transfer the cooked brussel sprouts to a small bowl and drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired. Serve immediately.
